Tearing It Down: Fence Removal for Wildlife

Pitch in to remove abandoned wire fencing left from historical cattle grazing at Vesper Meadow Restoration Preserve, restoring safer passage and habitat for wildlife. Hosted with the Southern Oregon Land Conservancy, this volunteer day involves light lifting and hand tools on flat and uneven terrain, plus a walk through the meadow; the collected wire will be upcycled into a sculpture by artist Gabriel Barrera. Tools, gloves, and food are provided, and sessions run morning and afternoon.
