ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum presents

A Free Community Wildfire Education Day. Features live fire science demonstrations in the ScienceWorks Dome, hands-on preparedness activities, Smokey Bear, fire truck tours with Ashland Fire & Rescue, Indigenous Traditional Ecological Knowledge with Lomakatsi Restoration Project, DIY air cleaner building for smoke season, games and crafts.
2:30 PM film screening of Embers of Awakening: From Firestorms to Climate Healing with guest speakers. Teen art showcase "For Love of Nature" created by Rogue Valley youth who lived through the 2020 Almeda Fire.
10 AM–2 PM main event | 2:30–4 PM film screening | 4–6 PM reception for teen artists.
Free admission all day.
