Born and raised in Ashland, Oregon. For two decades, Matt has been pushing the creative boundaries of advertising and storytelling, directing commercials for the world's leading brands. His work includes collaborations with Nike, Gatorade, Michelob, Nissan, ESPN, and Capital One. He created a 360 LED wall installation featuring Kobe Bryant and Gwen Stefani that helped secure LA's 2028 Olympic bid. Matt joined hungryman production company in 2025 and lives in Ashland with his wife Noelle and children Desmond and Viva.

Head of Operations

Based in Ashland, Montana has 15 years of experience as an elite Operations Director turning ideas into live events. She has executed major events including Coachella, the Preakness Stakes, and esports events with Immortals Gaming Club and Los Angeles Valiant. She brings resourcefulness, humor, and heart to every project — believing goals are achievable with the right team and clear focus.

Karolina Lavaningno

Marketing Director

A seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in event production. Owner of Wild Thyme Productions and founder of the Oregon Chocolate Festival and FERMENTOPIA. Karolina specializes in PR, community engagement, and integrated marketing across traditional, digital, and social platforms. She now promotes the Ashland Sarcasm Festival and other Storytown events.

Jim Fredericks

Board Chair

Jim combines executive leadership, consulting, human resources, and nonprofit management experience. He has held senior roles at Fortune 500 companies focusing on strategic planning, and served as Executive Director of the Ashland Independent Film Festival, leading its successful rebirth and transformation.
