Southern Oregon Zine Society

We are a volunteer-artist managed zine-making group of zinesters based in Southern Oregon that gathers monthly in Ashland, Oregon and surrounding towns. We also host other events such as an annual zine festival. Find us on Instagram @southernoregonzinesociety. We meet monthly with fellow zinesters, talk zines, bring along works in progress or zines to swap. Basic zine-making supplies are provided. Everyone welcome, LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC friendly. Socializing invited, but not required - shy folk welcome:-) A zine (pronounced ZEEN) is a self published/DIY book, comic or magazine printed or photocopied inexpensively to be given away, traded, or sold for a marginal fee. Anyone can make zines, and zines can be about anything!
