Stupid Hike for Stupid Mental Health: Southern Oregon

Stupid Hike for Stupid Mental Health returns Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 7:30 AM with a moderate hike on the Grizzly Peak Trail in the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument. RSVP is required. We will meet directly at the Grizzly Peak Trailhead, not at White Rabbit. The hike is approximately a 5 mile loop with about 1,000 feet of elevation gain and should take around 3 to 3.5 hours depending on group pace, trail conditions, breaks, and time for photos. Please arrive early enough to park, get settled, and be ready by 7:30 AM, because cell service can be unreliable and it may be difficult to find the group once we start. This hike is not a race. It is about community, movement, fresh air, and taking care of ourselves in whatever way we can that day. Hiking does not replace therapy, medication, crisis care, or professional support, but getting outside with good people can be one meaningful part of caring for our mental health. After the hike, we will meet at White Rabbit in the Plaza in Ashland for pizza, drinks, and community time. You will receive an email 48 hours before the hike with final details, reminders, and any changes.
